About Us

Without you, there is no us. Together, we are the Champaign County Community Coalition (the Community Coalition). We are a diverse group of people from all over the community. We are family members, coworkers, teachers, government officials, engaged youth, and residents. As a coalition, we will make our community into a better place to live, work, play, and learn.

The Community Coalition philosophy is to identify, support, and expand effective strengths-based programs that exist throughout the community. Where that is not possible, new opportunities may be created.

Vision

To provide a network of organizations and stakeholders that improve the lives of youth and their families resulting in youth who are empowered and safe, to promote effective law enforcement and positive police-community relations, and to support greater knowledge/use of the resources available.

Mission

To lead the process of analyzing and identifying the needs and strengths of the community at large and facilitating collaboration with an array of organizations to provide interventions to youth and families.
